2019 F Anderson Mirambeuax

SCOTT DEPOT, Wv. -- 2019 Teays Valley Christian (WV) PF Anderson Mirambeaux spent the end of high school season adjusting to his team and getting comfortable on the court. Now, he’s showing off his high talent level on one of the best AAU teams in the nation, Boo Williams 17U. He has been a part of a 7-1 start in the EYBL, one of the 3 major shoe circuits, and coaches are beginning to take notice.

This big fella loves to operate in the post, where he has a variety of moves. He is a straight up killer in the mid-post, and if you sag the help defense off too far, he will score. Mirambeaux has great hands and rebounds like a man in the paint. His body may need some work, but he runs the floor and stays active on the glass. A comparison you won’t hear often, Anderson has some Boris Diaw to his game. This kid has a chance to be very good in time.

As he gets older, his body will improve as will his jumpshot. The physical tools and understanding of the game make up for the things he can't do. There aren't many holes in the Dominican Republic native's game and it's only a matter of time before he starts dominating games.

He sports an early offer from Hampton and many other schools are calling about this talented prospect. With the way he’s been playing for Boo Williams, more offers are surely on their way. He looks very comfortable playing up in the EYBL and based on what he has done so far, his best basketball is ahead. Many coaches will be tracking Anderson heading into the summer live periods.

“If he gets his body right, he has a chance to be one of the best and most complete players I’ve ever coached. His basketball IQ and ability to make those around him better separate him from other players at his position.” – Ryan Arrowood, head coach at Teays Valley Christian, and formerly at Huntington Prep.
