2019 PG Judah Jordan

BALTIMORE, Md. -- We first introduced you to 2019 PG Judah Jordan in 2015. Fast-forward a year and a half later, and the 2019 PG is about to truly break onto the scene. After a solid, but injury-ridden, season as Capitol Christian’s starting point, he will head into AAU season with the task of running a talented Team Melo 16U squad.

This heady player has a knack for getting into the paint, where he can finish or find an open teammate for a great look. Judah has the ball on a string and rarely turns the ball over. He is a very active defender, “When I'm in the game I feel like I play defense best because that's what I pride myself on. That's something I can control no matter how I'm playing on offense whether good or bad because that just shows whether I want to win or not each and every possession.”

His jumpshot can still use some work, as he will be the first to admit. “I want to increase my shooting efficiency this AAU season. It will help my overall game if I can shoot better.”  If that part of his game catches up, he will be a handful for defenders. As that part of his game comes along, he will be a complete point guard.

Judah has early offers from Penn State, Towson, and Hampton, with interest coming in from Maryland, Virginia, Kent State, Houston, Georgetown , Kansas State, and Xavier. He got in a visit to nearby Maryland right before the high school season. There’s no more visit plans in the near future, “I’m just trying to play basketball right now.” As he runs the show for a good Team Melo squad, he will likely prove himself one of the top point guards on the East Coast.

“I don’t see why we can’t make the Peach Jam. We have a good team and I really want to make it. It’s going to be fun to go against better competition on the circuit.”

On hometown Towson:  “It’s at home. I like their facility and weight room. The coaches are really cool and they have a good program.”
