LEXINGTON, Ky. -- We spent this past weekend at the inaugural Mack, Miller, and Lofton (named after former Kentucky high school stars Sheldon Mack – Bryan Station, Darius Miller – Mason County, and Chris Lofton – Mason County) high school summer tournament at the Kentucky Basketball Commission. Living up to the names on the tournament, this weekend was filled with great basketball and a chance for our staff to evaluate a wide variety of players from the Bluegrass State in a different setting than usual. As follows are some of the top players we saw this weekend, listed in alphabetical order by school:

Adair County
2020 6’2 G Kai Burton – Burton is a long and lanky wing who was at his best putting the ball on the floor and attacking the rim. Kai showed some toughness when finishing drives and was aggressive attacking the hoop, was able to hit free throws when he got to the line.

2022 6’1 SG Lucas Pooler – The sophomore off-guard showed flashes of his talent by knocking down open shots and most notably, making a very nice baseline drive and finish against Bryan Station. It remains to be seen how good of an athlete Pooler is, but he showed a willingness to guard his position. He is someone we look forward to watching more as he gets older.

2025 5’7 PG Connor Loy – Only going to be a 7th grader, Loy was solid this weekend playing way up against older competition. He can knock down open shots and made a few nice passes when I was watching. He’s obviously got a long way to go but this young hooper didn’t look out of place in a varsity game.

Bourbon County
2020 6’2 PG Amirion Joyce – Joyce was scoring at will when driving to the basket and finished in traffic at a high rate. Motor is never a question as he stays in attack mode and lives at the line. Multiple times this weekend, he put the team on his back and scored in bunches, while also being an effective on-ball defender. One of the toughest guards to stay in front of in the state, and a no-brainer D1 prospect.

2020 6’5 F Mukonkole Lukonga – Lukonga had a good weekend and was effective in the post. He showed the ability to get after it on the glass and rebound the ball. He’s also got a nice skill set on the block. He was a big part of why Bourbon County took home the championship.

2020 5’9 PG Nakyir Joyce – Nakyir has a quick 1st step and was often seen blowing by his man to the basket. The emotional leader of the team, he works to get everyone involved. Made big play after big play and scored from all over, while also being a lock down defender.

Breathitt County
2020 6’1 G Jack Fugate - This guard can push the pace with good court vision. He has a nice all-around jumper with a lot of offense ran through him. Fugate has active hands on defense being able to get deflections or cause turnovers.

Bryan Station
2020 5’10 PG James Lindsay – The Bryan Station senior guard showed off an ability to be dynamic in the open floor using his quick change of pace and high-level athleticism. His decision-making skills have improved, but we would like to see it go a level further to give him a chance to tap into his true potential as a lead guard. Lindsay is a definite college player in the future.

2021 6’0 G Myles Morones – This junior wing is at his best when slashing and getting to the rim, but in the games we watched he showed off a capable jumpshot from beyond the arc and hit a couple 3s. His size isn’t overwhelming, but Morones has a good IQ and really gets after it on the defensive end.

Chapmanville (WV)
2020 6’9 F Obinna Killen – A highly skilled forward in the midst of a breakout spring. Often having to play the 5 for his high school, he had a little more offensive freedom than we’ve seen in the past. He stretches the floor with his jumpshot, both off the bounce and with feet set. His handle is solid for his size and often pushes the ball in transition after a rebound. He is a very capable shooter with range to 3, and scores facing up inside the arc. He is a high level shot blocker with good timing. It’s easy to see why HM schools have offered.

2022 6’8 W David Tubek – For not having played basketball in America very long, David is VERY impressive. He is a strong wing that shoots the ball at a high level from 3, also very athletic and will dunk on you with no hesitation. Tubek rebounds the ball well on both ends of the floor and plays with a high motor.He’s got a ton of upside and will be a nationally known name before too long and a potential HM recruit.

2020 6’1 PG Andrew Shull – Shull is a tough PG that has only been getting better in the last 12 months. After a great season in which he helped his team win the state championship, and a strong spring in AAU, he has not slowed down. He not only facilitates for his team but is lethal with his jumper. Andrew showed a very nice mid-range pullup, the ability to finish in traffic, and was a knock down shooter beyond the arc. He is a definite scholarship level player.

Danville
2021 5’9 PG Dante Hayden – The Danville Point guard can split defenders and get in the lane with his quickness. He likes to play fast and lead the breaks for his team while also drawing contact on drives. Shoots the ball well from the outside and is a tough matchup for anyone 1 on 1.

Fern Creek
2021 6’1 PG Jaden Rogers – Jaden had a relatively quiet weekend but that’s not unusual for a quiet kid who lets his game speak for him. Now standing 6’2 and able to get past about anyone off the dribble, Rogers can penetrate and finish or kick out to a teammate. The only disappointment with Jaden this weekend was that he didn’t get to guard Ben Johnson much and magnify a potential matchup between the two.

2021 6’7 PF Darrius Washington – Darrius can be an absolute beast when his motor is running. When his motor is stalled out, he looks like just another player out there going through the motions. At 6’7 and strong, Washington needs to be a dominant post player in a state that is lacking in true bigs. Howeverm we believe that Darrius can turn the corner soon. The potential is there for him to be a big time D1 prospect.

2022 5’11 G Darian Lewis – The sophomore combo guard played on the ball a decent amount, especially Saturday after Rogers left town. Lewis is skilled and crafty with the ball and has good length with the ability to play either guard spot. He’s a player to track moving forward in 2022.

2022 6’4 SF Andru Markham – Another Fern Creek sophomore with big potential, Markham does a little bit of everything for his team. He rebounds, defends and scores all without demanding the ball. Andru knocked down some open threes on Saturday and continues to look like a top player in 2022.

2021 6’5 G/SF Zek Montgomery – Montgomery was more impressive than we’ve seen before in multiple games on Saturday. His shot form has improved, and his perimeter shot looks much better. Zek has also added some bulk and improved his skill level. With his size, skill set and motor, look for Montgomery to jump onto college coach’s radars.

Frederick Douglass
2021 6’2 G DaShawn Jackson – Jackson continues to prove that he is one of the top guards in the state for the 2021 class. A strong body combo guard that makes players around him better. When his team needs him most he will turn it on and get them the buckets that are needed.

2020 5’11 G Jaylan Green - Green seemed to get to the basket whenever he wanted this weekend. The guard excels in an uptempo style of play and finishes well in transition. He showed that he is a shifty guard that can score when his team needed it most. 

George Rogers Clark
2022 6’2 G Jerone Morton – Jerone has been making a name for himself as one of the best sophomores in Kentucky and didn’t disappoint this weekend. While he’s a lefty shooter, Jerone showed the ability to score with either hand, even in traffic. It’s early in the prospect cycle for 2022s, but he continues to grow and develop his overall game, which has been very good to see.

2022 6’4 Wing Trent Edwards – Edwards showed a ton of potential on the weekend but still has a way to go to reach it to the fullest. Trent is long and athletic and caused problems on defense for opponents all weekend. His offensive game has a long way to go but the potential is there and Edwards looks like he’s going to keep growing for a while, already standing 6’4.

2021 6’4 SG Jared Wellman – With their program losing a lot to graduation, Jared is expected to step into a leadership role for GRC. Wellman showed the ability to knock down shots and rebounded well for his position, but he needs to get more consistent going to the rim. He’s getting noticeably stronger and thicker which should help him improve at finishing through contact on drives.

2020 6’6 F Lincoln Bush – Bush is a tough kid with length and plays hard on both ends of the floor. He showed the ability to score it well in the post, rebound out of his area, and be a decent shot blocker.

Great Crossing
2020 6’2 G Michael McKenzie – McKenzie is a good shooter who is also capable of attacking the defense off the bounce. If he can do more to affect the game than just scoring, there’s a strong chance Michael will see his college stock boost. In the first year of the Great Crossing basketball team, McKenzie is likely to be the go-to scorer for the Warhawks.

2024 5’8 PG Junius Burrell – Starting at point guard as a rising 8th grader, Burrell has been thrown into the fire this summer. He’s not very big but Junius is smart with a high basketball IQ. He doesn’t force a lot and as his offensive game develops over time, Burrell could be a really nice player for the newest school in Kentucky.

2021 6’3 G Elias Richardson – Primarily a JV player last season for Scott County, a new school has led to new opportunities for Richardson. Elias is a very methodical player who gets to his spots and knocks down open shots. He won’t wow anyone with athleticism, but Elias is a very smart player with good feel for the game. Look for him to be a big contributor for Great Crossing this year.

2023 SG Tim Fuller II - Tim is a long wiry SG that is good on the catch and shoot. The young SG has great range on his jump shot. His length helps him defensively where he can be effective on multiple positions. Fuller is a kid to keep an eye on for the future .

Greenwood
2021 6’2 PG Noah Stansbury – A heady PG that has the ball on a string, Stansbury is one of the best passers in the state and has crazy vision. He can shoot the lights out from 3 and has good range. He needs no room at all to get his jump shot off. When he gets hot he can KILL you from 3.

2020 6’7 F Ben Carroll – Carroll is a skilled forward that can go to work in the post or stretch the floor and make a play. Has a good face up game with the ability to get to the basket off the dribble. Shoots the ball well and has range to 3. Will grab a board and lead a break coast to coast. A versatile kid that can defend multiple positions

Harlan County
2020 6’6 G Taylor Spurlock –  The long wiry guard is a scoring threat at all times. He has good range on his jumper, a nice turn- around jump shot on the baseline, and knows how to play in the post as well. Taylor has good body control and knows how to score. He’s got a nice floater and consistently finishes through contact.

2024 6’0 PG Trenton Noah— For just a rising 8th grader, Noah has impressive size and physical strength for his age. He starts for the varsity squad and puts up number. He’s equipped with a quick first step and tight handles. Contact doesn’t bother him and often finishes on his drives. Trenton has good vision and the ability to make shots from all over the floor. He is definitely one of the best 2024 prospects we have seen to date and his future is bright.

Harlan Independent
2022 5’10 PG Jordan Akal – A Point Guard who likes to push the tempo of the game. Has the ability to score it from all over, knocking down 3s, getting to the basket at will on the drive, and draws contact to get to the free throw line. Had multiple games where he balled out, including a 45-point game vs Scott County. Akal is a name to know because he will only continue to get better.

Henry Clay
2020 6’1 PG Marquis Mackey – Mackey plays hard and doesn’t take plays off. In the championship game Sunday, he was deadly in the midrange. With Warrick on the bench with cramps, Mackey stepped up to score a ton on Sunday afternoon. With so many guards on the Clay roster it’s hard to call him a point guard or a shooting guard but Mackey is one of those players who just gets it done, regardless of position.

2020 6’3 G Marques Warrick – Possibly the MVP of the event, Warrick scored in the 30s in nearly every game before succumbing to some cramping on Sunday afternoon. Ques has perfected the two right hand dribbles into a step back move and shot over 50% from 3 for the weekend. He did a little bit of everything over the course of 3 days and solidified his position as a future D1 player. He only holds an offer from NJIT, but after July that should change.

2021 6’0 PG Aziel Blackwell – Recently arrived in Lexington from New Jersey, and Blackwell showed the ability to lead the break from the point guard spot and facilitate for others. Aziel didn’t have a great weekend shooting the ball but he did a little bit of everything off the bench to help the Devils advance to the Championship game.

2020 6’2 G Sebian Dillard – Another new member of the roster at Henry Clay, Dillard moved in from Louisville, where he was the leading scorer for St. X last season. Dillard knocked down a lot of jumpers, especially on Sunday and looks like he could be a nice complimentary scorer next to Warrick this season. With the guard lineups Henry Clay can put on the court, they’ll be a tough cover for everyone in the 11th.

2022 6’2 G Kanye Henderson – Only a sophomore, Kanye resembles Warrick at the same age. Henderson is skilled but slight of build and can get knocked around a little when he drives into the paint. Already about 6’2 and still growing, Kanye could be the next star at Clay after Warrick graduates next spring. In the meantime, he has a chance to be a big contributor for Coach Brown’s team.

Lafayette
2020 6’10 C Ray Surratt—He might fool you when you watch him in layup lines, but once Ray steps onto the court there is no question that he is very skilled. He’s got great hands and holds down his area as a rebounder. He also has the ability to step out and hit the occasional 3, but is a very capable mid-range shooter. Surratt has soft touch in the paint and on the block and has been playing very well lately.

Lexington Catholic
2021 6’3 G Ben Johnson – Ben was one of the top performers at the event before an ankle sprain against GRC on Saturday ended his weekend prematurely. Primarily known as a big-time shooter, Johnson did most of his damage off the dribble against Fern Creek on Saturday and was the best player on the floor in a game loaded with potential D1 players.

2020 6’4 G Luke Wedding – One of the best catch and shoot players in central Kentucky, Wedding can get hot in a hurry and you can’t give him any room to get his shot off. The 6’4 wing has to become a better slasher to reach his full potential but if he can catch the ball with his feet set and a clear line of sight, you may as well get the ball out of the net and start going the other way.

2022 6’4 G Jack Gohmann – Jack has been on our radar some lately but really showed out this weekend as the second scorer that Catholic will need to be a threat in the 11th region. Not just a shooter, Gohmann was able to play the point guard spot and free up his teammates to work off screens to get open instead of having to play on the ball. Jack had 25 points against a tough Fern Creek squad and was efficient in doing so to boot.

Male
2023 6’6 F Kaleb Glenn—Glenn has tons of long term potential, and is already tracking as one of the best 2023 prospects in the state of Kentucky. He’s got a mature body and could definitely attract early D1 interest, which is typically uncommon for underclassman in Kentucky. He’s still a tweener at this point, but if he keeps developing he will become a tough 3 man.

2020 6’5 PG Howard Fleming –Fleming is an athletic guard that has good vision and passing ability He is at his best as an attacking guard that finishes through contact. He also showed the ability to step out and knock down 3s with consistency, as well as having good ball control.

2020 6’5 G/F Noah Courtney- Courtney is a long 4 man with a solid frame who is effective with his back to the basket and when he is able to show off his good post moves. He is also a good athlete capable of racking up boards and rebounding way outside his area.

 2021 6’6 G Dez Lindsay—One of the spring’s top stock risers in Kentucky, Dez is a hard guard as an attacking/slashing guard w/long arms and a big wing span. Getting to the rim is fairly easy for him as he can blow by a defender with one dribble and be looking at the rim on his first jump. He’s also got an underrated passing ability. If his jumpshot ever comes along…watch out!

2020 6’1 PG Jake Evans – Evans is one of the more underrated PG’s in the state. He has great court vision and passing ability to go with a good set of handles. He is a playmaker with a pure stroke from 3 and deep range.

2020 5’11 G Tyren Moore – As always, Tyren is going to give you the consistent offensive production. This guard can shoot it with the best and keeps getting better shooting off the bounce. Moore has one of the most impressive fade away jumpers I have seen at his size. He is deceptively quick with the ball and knows how to create offense.

Mason County
2020 6’5 F Alex Schalch – Alex is a big strong Forward that uses his strength to his advantage. He has good footwork, hands, and a soft touch around the basket. He even showed the ability to step out and knock down a 3 ball.

Marion County
2020 6’ PG Tyshay Epps – The PG was a tough matchup for opponents and got by anyone that tried to guard him. He scored it in a variety of ways while shooting the 3 ball well this weekend. One of the shiftiest kid we watched with tight handles and good playmaking ability.

2020 6’6 F Jameson Epps – Jameson was playing at the peak of his ability all weekend. He has really worked hard on being one of the best forwards in the state. He rebounds it at a high level and can lead a break with his ball handling ability. He showed great vision and passing. Scored it in every way you could imagine in the post. Showed that he is full capable of knocking down perimeter jump shots. Not only his game, but his athleticism has picked up as well, Epps has turned into a promising college prospect.

Martin County
2021 6’10 Trey James— Sometimes it feels like we keep running back the same evaluation, but Trey James is just that good at what he does on the court. He is a monster rebounder due to his size and strength, and is a smart shot blocker to boot, often altering almost everything that comes in the paint as the anchor of the defense. He is a consistent finisher around the basket and tries to dunk whatever he can. He is unquestionably the top 2021 big man in Kentucky and a D1 prospect.

Nelson County
2022 6’3 G Bryce Riley— Riley can really shoot the ball from deep. He plays well out of the high post for a guard, is lights out from the perimeter, and he is a warrior on the boards. It’s just a matter of time before college coaches start to take notice of this young talent.

North Oldham
2023 5’8 PG Dallas Roberts—A very savvy ball handler with good poise and vision, Dallas uses his ability to handle the ball to get by defenders to shoot floaters or drop off assists. Roberts also has good range on his jump shot, so defenders can’t sag off and help. One of the craftiest finishers that we saw at the event in traffic.

2020 6’4 F Tyler Higdon – Very athletic forward that runs the floor really well in transition. He attacks to finish or get to the line often and plays with high energy, looking to push every break. Higdon is a warrior that plays with his heart on his sleeve on both ends of the floor. He blocks shots above the rim, plays downhill in the half court, and finishes with either hand in the paint.

Owsley County
2020 6’4 G Trent Sebastian – Trent is a good-sized guard with length and a combo guard that can go to work on and off the ball. Sebastian does everything for his team and defends multiple positions. He rebounds well for his position.

Paintsville
2022 6’4 G Colby Fugate – Colby was really cooking on Saturday morning against Henry Clay, especially early. Fugate has good positional size and a very quick release on his jumper. His shot selection wasn’t great as he relied a little too much on his jump shot when he had driving lanes open. If he keeps developing, Fugate has as much college potential in anyone in the 2022 class.

2020 6’3 F Nick Keeton – Pound for pound, Keeton is probably the best rebounder in the state. He’s not very tall but he is very strong and throws his body around with little regard for anything but grabbing every rebound. Nick didn’t show a ton of offense but did hit a 3 and finished well around the rim, especially on put backs off the offensive glass.

2021 SG Jaxon Watts – Probably the best shooter on the Paintsville roster, Watts showed the ability to be more than just a catch and shoot player. Jaxon is a sleeper in the 2021 class and is a potential X factor when it comes to getting the Tigers to Rupp Arena in March.

Paul Laurence Dunbar
2020 5’11 G Dylan Spalding – The best guard on Dunbar’s squad, Spalding was one of the few Bulldogs who could consistently make shots this weekend. In their game against Henry Clay, Spalding went head to head with their talented guards and didn’t flinch. He hit multiple tough shots and showed the ability to drive into the defense.

2020 6’8 PF Rabby Kamona – A force in the paint with grown man strength, Kamona has all the tools to dominate on the glass but his motor isn’t running at all times. Offensively, he is raw, but we feel like a college coach could take a chance on him off of sheer size, strength, and ability to use his body on the glass.

2022 6’5 F Shyheim Drew – One of the bigger Sophomores in the event, Drew is big and strong but must finish around the rim better as he struggled to finish when crowded in the paint and whenever contact came. Shyheim has all the tools to be a college post or big wing, but he’ll need to tighten his ball handling to play on the perimeter.

2022 6’6 F Robby Todd –At just 14 years old and going to be a rising sophomore, Todd stands a legitimate 6’6 and looks like he’s not done growing just yet. He played with a great motor all weekend, truly never taking a play off. If he grows like we think he should, and adds the ability to score outside the paint, he’s got big potential and is a player to watch in the 2022 class.

Pulaski County
2020 5’9 PG Colton Fraley – We have been watching this lead guard for a very long time, and Colton has a very smooth game still. He knocked down shots all weekend and preferred the ball in his hands when the game was on the line, a trait that you can’t help but like. Fraley was deadly in the midrange as he could get past his man and pull up at the free throw line area consistently.

2020 F Grant Oakes – One of the better low post finishers we saw this weekend, Oakes was able to finish through contact and his aggressiveness got him to the free throw line all weekend long. Grant is also a good rebounder for his size and should be a nightly double-double threat for the Maroons this season.

Scott HS
2022 F Cameron Patterson – Patterson holds impressive physical tools at 6’6, but his skill level just doesn’t match the physical tools quite yet. However, he is just a rising sophomore and has the potential to be a solid college prospect down the road, especially if he improved his finishing around the rim.

2023 PG Jacob Meyer – One of Saturday’s top standouts, Meyer is a good looking young prospect who has a strong chance to debut as one of our top 10 players in the 2023 class when the rankings are released. Jacob scored the ball with his jumper and in the paint, while also proving to be a good athlete who can penetrate the defense.

Scott County
2020 6’6 F Terrin Hamilton – When Hamilton’s motor was running, he was one of the best all around prospects in the event. Able to score the ball at all 3 levels, Hamilton is a match-up problem for most defenders. When he coasted through parts of games, he looked like just another guy on the court. With great size and length, Terrin should be on the radar for any scholarship level coaches.

2020 6’1 G KJ Tucker – KJ has a chance to be one of the best players at Scott County this season. He has good athleticism and elevates very well on his jump shot. He is at his best when making shots, and Tucker shot the ball well overall on the weekend but looked disinterested in playing defense at times. If he buys into playing both ends of the court hard, he can be a major factor in the 11th region.

2020 6’8 PF Jaylen Barber – Perhaps the biggest X factor in the 11th region, Barber is 6’8, has added serious bulk and looks to swat everything on the defensive end. He must do a better job of avoiding silly fouls, but Jaylen can be a difference maker on both ends. He’s a good two-handed rebounder and had a vicious tip dunk on Saturday where it looked like he was trying to tear the goal down.

2020 6’1 G Isaiah Haynes— Haynes is a knock down shooter that will take defenders to the basket if you run him off the line. He can put the ball on the floor to create a shot for himself, and has solid vision and passing. He is a scorer first, but he can still make a play for those around him.

2020 5’8 PG Aaron Leake—is one of the shiftiest lead guards in this tournament. He has the ball on the string and body control to maneuver in mid-air around defenders to finish at the rim. To go along with his creative ability, he is lights out from behind the arc. Leake makes for a tough guard and isn’t afraid of the big moments.

Sevier County (TN)
2020 5’9 PG Marvin Castro – Castro is a nice steady lead guard that probes the defense often and attacks well off the bounce. He sees the floor, knows how to make the right read, and can shoot the trey ball well enough to keep the defense honest. We were also impressed with his ability to consistently finish tough baskets.

2020 6’5 G/F Wes Maples – Wes Maples shoots it well from the mid-range and beyond, out to the 3 point line. He likes to attack the basket and plays fearless, never worrying about what defender is in front of him. He is a workhorse on the offensive glass, often giving his team multiple extra possessions in a game.

Louisville Southern
2021 6’3 G Camden Pfeister—Pfeister is an athletic shooter that can play above the rim and step out and knock down the 3 ball. He uses his length on defense to get in passing lanes and create turnovers that lead to easy scoring opportunities in transition.

2021 6’7 PF CeArius Warren—“King” Warren is the most athletic player in the 2021 class in Kentucky. He runs the floor well and can dunk everything. Warren is still working developing a consistent mid-range shot, but he can finish around the rim. After a strong spring with Team Thad on the Under Armour circuit, he has reestablished himself as one of the top 2021s in Kentucky.

2020 6’3 G Zavian Jackson—Jackson is the spark plug for his Louisville Southern team. He comes off the bench as the 6th man and brings an energetic boost the team uses to get re-charged. He will hustle for loose balls, guard the best guy, and play in the half court and be an effective scorer when needed. 

Southwestern Pulaski
2020 6’1 F Cameron Pierce— An undersized 4 man but has a strong body type and knows how to use his size to push defenders around. He sets solid screens and rolls hard to the basket finding himself open a lot for buckets. He roots guys out for rebounds, and can step out and knock down an occasional 3 ball.

Tates Creek
2020 6’0 G Maxwell Morton – With the absence of Amari Taylor, Max picked up a lot of the slack with his play this weekend. The quick guard can push the pace and make plays with his great court vision. He has a smooth jumper and it showed in the first game where he scored in bunches.

Woodford County
2020 6’2 G Ashton Myles-Devore – Getting to see this 6’1 guard play with the ball in his hands much more often than we’ve seen in the past was great. Ashton has also been a solid and capable shooter, coupled with his underrated athleticism but showed much more potential as a lead guard and boosted his stock over the course of the weekend.

2020 6’1 G Jared Courtney – A recent transfer from Franklin County to Woodford County, Jared is a solid combo guard that is capable of playing both on- and off-the-ball based on our multiple viewings throughout the weekend. He showed the ability to shoot consistently and drive into the teeth of the defense. He should draw college interest over the course of his senior year.

2020 6’0 G Anthony Tabor – Another tough guard for Woodford, Tabor is probably the steadiest hand at point guard for the Yellow Jackets. Anthony has been a starter for the last couple of years and continues to make plays as a high IQ floor general that can also make open shots. Look for Tabor to be one of the best senior guards in the 11th region as a senior.

Wolfe County
2024 6’6 F Skylar Ritchie – Ritchie is a 6’6 post who is only entering his 8th grade season but showed flashes of potential across multiple viewings this weekend. Skylar is a solid finisher but doesn’t play like the 6’6 bruiser he could be quite yet. As he grows and matures, Ritchie could be a big-time player in the mountains.

2021 6’2 G Jaz Johnson – Johnson is very skilled and can really score the ball, but his decision making and shot selection need some work. Jaz can play at any tempo that game dictates, as he was good in both the open floor or in the half court. He is forced to play off the ball due having multiple small guards on his team, but in our eyes Johnson’s ideal position is likely as a scoring point guard.

2022 6’1 PG Sawyer Thompson – Thompson shoots the ball well and made a couple of smooth passes on Sunday against Greenwood. Sawyer isn’t very big but is crafty with the ball and knows how to get past the defender into the paint, where he can score. Improvement on defense will greatly benefit his overall game.
